Description: A cropped capri from John Galliano's Spring/Summer 2002 collection for Christian Dior, cut from textured olive-green linen and lavishly hand-embellished down one side with multicolored embroidery, vivid butterflies, scrolling florals and foliage in purple, red, yellow and blue — scattered throughout with sparkling rhinestones that catch the light. A row of tonal buttons runs along the front. Slim and body-skimming, it pairs raw, earthy linen with couture-level surface decoration, embodying the maximalist, craft-driven romanticism that defined Galliano's tenure at the house.
